Her career began in Beverly Hills, she later went on to apprentice with the Art director of Paul Mitchell, working on stage as a platform artist, runway stylist and a behind the chair stylist. Her Path lead her here to the Southwest, where she began working with plants, oils, and started to learn about scalp health and hair care on a deeper level.

Her background as an Entrepreneur, mother, wife, as well as being skilled in the craft is what adds a rich dimension to the experience that she shares with every person who sits in her chair.

Afton began her career 14 years ago where she worked and trained at a Paul Mitchell focus salon, and later worked as a national educator with John Paul Mitchell systems receiving knowledge and skill training from some of the greatest stylists in the industry. Through the years she has kept up with ongoing education and has valued every class received by industry leaders. A solid foundation in hair cutting theory has heighten her use of intuitive cutting giving her clients a uniquely theirs cut and style to love.
